My name is Jennifer, and I am the Awareness and Outreach Coordinator for Mesothelioma.com. We maintain one of the most trusted Internet resources for information about mesothelioma, a fatal cancer that affects about 2,500 Americans annually, the majority of which are older adults and senior citizens. We are accredited by the Health On the Net Foundation as a trustworthy source for medical information, and our goal is to share information about this fatal cancer through our outreach efforts and the sharing of educational materials.
As I’m sure you’re aware, the older population is increasing rapidly. Between 2010 and 2030, the population of older adults will become twice as large as it was in 2000, growing from 35 million to 72 million. The “Baby Boomer” generation will soon represent as much as 20% of the population. Unfortunately, this means that a potential increase in the number of individuals diagnosed with mesothelioma. Those at risk of developing this illness include veterans, former miners and construction workers, and firefighters, just to name a few.
Because Mesothelioma.com has such imperative health information to share with older adults, I would like to inquire about adding a resource link to our homepage on your website. I’m confident that our information will be a beneficial addition to your website.
I look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your time and consideration.
Yours in health,
Jennifer
